Carina and I met December 7, 2017 at Art Basel in Miami, FL. Since that fateful December day, we have been inseparable. Falling in love is easy, building a strong relationship is not, especially with a small body of water and 3600 miles in between you. Nevertheless, we feel that our commitment and love for each other has grown stronger because of the distance over the past 2 years. We are excited to finally live together in the same country for more than a week and hope the good folks at US Immigration agree with us!
Our journey together is just beginning (after 172,356 travel miles some would argue it is well underway) and after countless laughs, kisses (so many PDA kisses), tons of hugs, a few tears, a couple cancelled flights, work problems, more work problems, and most importantly a ton of love and admiration for one another we are making it official.
Although we are both from different places, different countries, and different upbringings we have found comfort and appreciation for each other because we are both so similar in all the most important ways; we love hard, work hard, play hard, and are two of the most particular humans on Earth.
We'd like to thank all of our family and friends who will make the journey from near and far to come celebrate with us this September. We’d also like to thank Maggie O'Neill for finally answering my text messages and I’d like to personally thank Carina for explaining to me that it is rude to sit down next to someone and not introduce yourself, approximately 2 minutes after I sat down next to her on December 7, 2017. Thank you my love!
